At Polar Panels we pride ourselves with the
ability to deliver what the customer specifies. We also realize that
not everyone has an unlimited budget, therefore we have standard
specification that are typical of most installation requirements. We
stock standard panels that fit these specifications that are the most cost
effective and readily available for quick delivery. We also have
features that are "standard" for Polar Panels that exceed most
of our competitions "standard" features.

OTHER "STANDARD" FEATURES
Urethane framed panels at wood frame
prices. The "R" value, or insulation value, of wood frame boxes
is 8.3 per inch. This is close to six time less than our
"standard" high density urethane used in Polar Panels boxes.
Many other box manufacturers use wood
"stringers to support their sheet metal floor. This method transfers
more heat and can result in delaminating of the sheet metal from the foam
causing sagging uneven floors.
After visiting many installations we found
that the preferred method of closing a cooler door is with a swift heal
kick. Workers often pass through the door with their hands full.
Polar panels doors include a backing material from the bottom of every door up
24" for added structural support.
